An 87-year-old man died at a hospital after a teenage driver struck him in a Northwest Side parking lot, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The crash happened Monday morning near Babcock Road.
Police said the man had just left a routine follow-up appointment when he was hit.
The driver was looking for a parking spot and did not see the man walking through the lot, according to SAPD.
The man was initially taken to a hospital in critical condition. SAPD later said he was pronounced dead.
SAPD said the teen stayed at the scene.
Additional information was not immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
