COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Law enforcement officials in Colorado Springs are searching for Richard Kosut after an arrest warrant was filed connecting him to a series of robberies.
The first robbery occurred Sunday along Austin Bluffs Parkway. Witnesses reported that a male suspect entered the premises, aimed a firearm at staff members and demanded cash before fleeing prior to the arrival of police.
An identical robbery took place the following day, Monday, at a commercial establishment located on North Academy.
Witnesses described the suspect as a male estimated to be in his mid-40s or 50s. During the Monday robbery, observers reported seeing the suspect operating a red SUV.
Following the incidents, investigators identified Kosut as the suspect and executed a search warrant at a residence on Hackamore Court. Upon searching the property, authorities discovered evidence connecting him to both robberies, though Kosut was not present at the location.
Police request that anyone with details that could assist in locating or capturing Kosut contact law enforcement.
